Welcome to Save-A-Life Foundation

Founded in 2010, Save a Life Foundation has dedicated the last 15 years to advocating for children in need of care and protection. In response to the challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, we expanded our mission to include medical and crisis response units, launching six impactful projects that have transformed countless lives.

At Save a Life, we work tirelessly alongside various entities to ensure comprehensive support for vulnerable children and their families, including:

It is of paramount importance to us to provide services and programs that prioritize the best interests of each child we assist. Every day, we witness the harsh realities of child abuse, which has reached a state of emergency in South Africa, with women and children facing violence and neglect on a daily basis. The lack of adequate protection for our most vulnerable citizens calls for immediate action.

Moreover, the government’s insufficient support for families living in poverty exacerbates these issues, leading to an alarming rise in cases of child abandonment and abuse. The interplay of abuse, poverty, and substance dependency contributes to the distressing statistics surrounding abandoned and abused children in our country.

The mission of Save a Life Foundation is to deliver comprehensive support and care to vulnerable individuals, with a specific emphasis on children.

72 Hour Emergency Children's Shelter

Save a Life 72 Hour Emergency Children’s Shelter, established in 2019, provides a critical haven for vulnerable children in need of immediate assistance.

Emergency Medical Response Unit

Save a Life Foundation’s Emergency Response Unit was established in 2022 to address the critical need for emergency services in underprivileged communities.

She is Qualified as a Grade A Security Manager, Armed & Tactical Response Officer & Medical & fire
Responder.

Layla brings over a decade of experience in law enforcement, humanitarian efforts, and social welfare, collaborating with organizations like JHB Child Welfare, Social Development, JISS, SAPS, and Community Police Boards.
