Layla is the Founder & CEO of Save- A-Life Humanitarian Aid Foundation. She is Qualified as a Grade A Security Manager, Armed & Tactical Response Officer & Medical & fire Responder.
She is a motivational speaker, Autism Advocate, & Humanitarian. Layla is a Child abuse & GBV Activist & survivor. Layla has over a decade of experience in working in law enforcement, humanitarian & social welfare, and has been extensively involved in working with JHB Child Welfare, Department of Social Development, JISS, Victim Empowerment Centers, Detectives, Crime Intelligence, SAPS, FCS, CPU, and the Community Police Board.
Layla Boda also holds the following positions: Managing Director of Big Red Tooth Centre for advanced oral health excellence Founder & Executive Director of Big Red Tooth Foundation Executive Director of DISA – Disability Information Support Association Motivational Speaker, Member of Find Me South Africa. Layla Boda won the humanitarian award from city of Johannesburg in 2022
Dr. Boda an executive Director of Save-A-Life Humanitarian Aid foundation also the Founder & CEO of Big Red Tooth – Centre for advanced oral health excellence, and Executive Director of Big Red Tooth Foundation.
Dr Ebrahim Boda qualified with a BSc from Medunsa University majoring in Psychology and Biochemistry, there after he completed the dental degree (BDS). Dr Boda has more than 23 years of experience in paediatric and aesthetics dentistry including endodontics. Dr Boda joined save a life in 2022 to make a difference towards the under privileged.
Prof. Essop is an Executive Director of Save-A-Life Foundation, Prof Essop joined us in 2023 he is also an Executive Director of Big Red Tooth Foundation. Prof. Essop was associated with the following academic institutes viz. Wits Dental School where he was a specialist consultant and subsequently the Head / Dean of the school and CEO of Wits Dental Hospital. A position he held till he retired, subsequently he joined the Medunsa Oral Health Centre (University of Limpopo) where he served as specialist consultant.
Prof Essop was also the Acting Head of department of Pedodontics and Restorative Dentistry, School of Oral Health Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand. Prior to his appointment at Wits Dental School, he was the head of the department of prosthodontics and the clinical dean at Medunsa Oral health centre. Prof. Essop has 47 years of Experience in oral health care of which 37 years and counting is, as a specialist prosthodontist.
Ml. Zakarriya Du Preez an Executive Director of Save-A-Life Humanitarian Aid foundation. In 2023 he completed his degree in financial management and is currently pursuing qualifications in Islamic finance to pursue social development and humanitarian work across Africa.
Zakariyya S du Preez converted to Islam in 2006 in his matric year. He completed his Ālimiyah qualification in 2014 and became the Imam of Masjid Al-Aashiqeen, Florida, Roodepoort where he is involved in educational programmes, social work, humanitarian aid and charity drives.
He is also a director and jurist at a non-profit company, The Islamic Family Court (IFC) which strives to protect women’s Islamic rights in the marital home and educates couples on responsibilities within marriage. In addition, he is an external advisor to the Shari’ah board of a new Islamic legal-tech company, Digital Nikaah. Zakariyya S du Preez hopes that the ASRI Future Leadership Programme will give him the knowledge, network and skills to take him to the next level of community service and leadership.
Tania is an Executive Director of Save-a-Life Humanitarian Aid Foundation. She is also the Founder and Chairman of Find Me SA Missing and wanted persons. She has 12 years’ experience in assisting Law Enforcement e.g. SAPS, FCS, Detectives, Crime Intelligence and other departments in finding missing & wanted persons.
Tania is actively involved with interventions with substance abuse and works with the drug free world where courses are available. she has also been actively assisting in specialized child abuse and neglect cases.
Gayroedien is a qualified Mechanical Engineer & Medical Responder, and is a Public Safety Officer for city of JHB ward 55 .
He is actively involved in making a difference to the community and has 24 years of extensive experience working with SAPS, detectives, Crime Intelligence, JMPD, Province, FCS & all city stake holders.
He also helps with rehabilitation of addicts. In his free time gayer loves relaxing and being around his family.
